Cyndi Lauper is excited to announce the 8th annual Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays benefit concert on Saturday, December 8 at New York City’s historic Beacon Theatre in support of the True Colors Fund’s work to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.
For the past seven years, this concert has played to sold out audiences of over 2,800 each year and welcomed performers like P!NK, 50 Cent, Adam Lambert, Lou Reed, Josh Groban, Jackson Browne, Laverne Cox, Sarah McLachlan, Jason Mraz, Boy George, St. Vincent, Alan Cumming, Wanda Sykes, Laura Jane Grace and many more. Home for the Holidays has quickly become the signature event for Cyndi’s True Colors Fund and provides a significant source of funding towards fulfilling the organization’s mission.
Co-founded by Cyndi Lauper, the True Colors Fund works nationally to end homelessness among LGBTQ youth. Through a broad continuum of advocacy, training & education, and youth collaboration programs, the True Colors Fund is creating a world in which young people can be their true selves. 100 percent of the net proceeds from the concert will support the True Colors Fund’s programs.
Tickets will be available to the general public at Ticketmaster.com starting on Friday, October 19 at 12:00pm ET. All sales are through Live Nation. Tickets are available for purchase here.
