Many people complain about how they’re tired of listening to the same music or hearing the same songs. And I always think to myself “how”? There’s so much music out there! New artists have definitely been on the rise the past few years. And while most may think stars like Cardi B, Sza, and Goldlink were discovered overnight; musicophile’s (to have a deep love and interest in music) like me will tell you that these artists have been grinding behind the scenes for quite some time now. It’s just a matter of them making that one song that will turn into a ‘hit’. And then we have to wait for the next big ‘hit’ if there is one.
But if you’re tired of jumping on the bandwagon, why wait untill everyone discovers an artist for you to become a fan? Well, many have expressed that they just don’t know where to find new music or ‘underground’ artists. But I know that, even if I were to give you the multiple outlets that are available, most of you still won’t take the time to look and actually listen to see what songs you like or dislike. So instead of giving you a bunch of different outlets that you’re not going to use, I’ve decided to bless you with my favorite underground artists that I believe are on the rise and will soon be a force to reckon with.
