Kanye West Deeper in the Sunken Place?

Has Kanye West gone deeper into the sunken place? Many chose to forgive and forget about the Kanye West PR disasters that happened earlier this year when he spoke up in regards to his celebrity drama and announced his joint album release “Good Ass Job” with Chance the Rapper. But since this announcement, Kanye has still remained in the limelight for supporting negative views.

Now it’s only been several months since Kanye West stated that ‘slavery was a choice’ in an interview with Charlamagne the God. Many wrote it off as his mental illness speaking and others were completely taken back by this comment. Some were even saying that it was ‘classic Kanye’ and simply for his new album release. And most seemed to agree that Kanye was in the ‘sunken place’. But whatever the conspiracy may be, Kanye was not feeling the backlash. He tweeted a number of times trying to explain himself but was quickly shut down.

Memes of Kanye West being stuck in the sunken place we’re spreading like wildfire. People were flaming him up every chance they got.

And after being incognito for a while Kanye comes back, trying to make light of the’sunken place’ trolling by posting the following photos.  A couple people found this funny but people we’re still claiming he’s ‘cancelled’.

And already in heat, Kanye West decides to wear house shoes to Two Chainz wedding. Not only did he wear house shoes but they were way too small. So people proceeded to make jokes of him. And I can’t lie they were pretty funny.

And making light of another situation, Kanye responds with a picture of Japanese sandals and a tweet stating “the Japanese way”. As if wearing too small slides was his intention the whole time.

Well, this follow up still didn’t seem to be good enough because he was still getting roasted. So he decided to respond with a picture of oversized slides and the caption “are these slides big enough.” People actually found this kind of funny.

And after a few more appearances and tweets, Kanye decided to really make his appearance from the sunken place by tweeting quite a few tweets apologizing to Drake about the Pusha beef. First, he tries to make ammends by sending good energy Drake’s way and then He goes on to insist  that it wasn’t him that gave all that information to Pusha. Kanye doesn’t stop there, he then goes on to

And last but not least, Kanye makes this special announcement at Chance the rapper’s event stating that they’re releasing a joint album. “Me and Chance working on a new album. It’s called ‘Good Ass Job’.” The crowd went wild. And Kanye goes on to tell them that he’s also moving back to Chicago for good.”I moved back to Chicago and I’m never leaving again.”

Since this appearance, Kanye has been popping up everywhere in his “Make America Great Again” hat (‘rolls eyes’). He even wore it in one of his three performances during the premiere of SNL. He also released a new single, which he also performed at SNL, called ‘I love it’ with rapper, Lil Pump. And lastly, he stayed on stage to go on a rant in support of TrumpAnd if this isn’t enough, Kanye goes on another rant during a suprise visit at a Michigan art school. He was on the table ‘going in’ telling people to “Leave Elon Musk the f-k alone.”

After watching, I thought to myself, Kanye is definitely trying different tactics for album promo. But I also belive that he has severe mental issues and actually believes in the things he says. Many artists like Snoop Dog, John Legend, and Swizz Beats have vocalized there disapproval. But other artists are still working with him.

What do you think about Kanye’s shenanigans? Are they worth blowing over? Can you separate the music from the artists? Or should Kanye truely be held accountable for his beliefs?
