Smino
I chose Smino as the artist of the week because his new album, “Noir” is straight fire. It has so much depth. All the songs go together to create such a cohesive album. And of course, I love the “Noir” Concept. I also love the fact that Smino sticks to his style. Sometimes as artists gain more exposure they change the vibe of their music. But Smino has been the same guy since he started. And His tone of voice is so unique. He adds another element to being a singer and rapper. I recommend that you not only listen to the new album, “Noir” but that you listen to the old album, “Blkswan” as well. You won’t regret it!

Noir– My favorite songs on the Noir Album are below.
- Kovert– Amazing intro! This songs definitely introduces the vibe to follow the whole album.
- L.M.F– I think this one is the people’s favorite. And I couldn’t agree more. The beat in conjunction with his flow just makes you want to rock with him. That’s probably why this song is doing so good in the dance world as well.
- Klink– This song is one of my personal favorites. The chorus is untouchable. The flow, the beat, the lyrics, must I go on!
- Spinz– This song gives me BlkSwan Smino vibes and I love it. It’s a vibe; chill song to sit back and smoke a blunt too.
- Hoopti– This song has so many different elements in it but still keeps the same smooth cool tone throughout it. I love the transitions and beat changes.
BlkSwan– I heard of Smino before this because of features and singles. But This album is what made me fall in love with not just his music but him as an artist. He’s a lyricist, vibe provider, and authentic.
- Wild Irish Roses– If you smoke and like R&B, then this song will become a part of that playlist.
- Glass Flows– Sick flow and amazing singing by him and Ravyn on this song. And you want to listen to the whole song cause the breakdown is tight.
- Anita– I appreciate songs with good concepts. And this is the perfect example. This song also did well.
- Blkswn– My favorite song on the whole album. It’s such a relatable song for any man or woman on the grind. I continuously rap this song with all my heart. It’s one of those songs you just feel.
- Amphetamine– Don’t be fooled by the smooth undertone. This song has depth. And I love a good song with substance. The breakdown of this song is also my favorite part of the song.
