I love all music. I enjoy the music that’s played on the radio. And I’m the first person to download music from headlining artists. However; the music I listen to on a regular basis is made up of mostly indie artists. Today, there are many definitions of indie artists. Well, Indie is a word that is short for independent. But because of the word’s history, when people talk about indie in music, that can mean a lot of things; Some people only associate it with certain genres like alternative rock & others use the general definition due to the diversity in music today.

I’d like to think of my definition of indie music and artists to be an evolution of both. I think indie music today has created a genre of its own. Indie music has a certain vibe, innovation, and authenticity to it, that you can’t get on the radio. So here are some of my fav’ indie tracks right now.
