1. “Be Right Back”- Jorja Smith
Jorja Smith never dissapoints. This short album was definitely anticipated. All of the tracks are amazing! It was filled with melancholy moods, pensive vibes, and sultry feels. Jorja Smith’s music falls in the realms of that indie soul & carribean sound that’s has recently emerged and is currently trending. She will definitely be a pioneer of the genre!
2. ” DJ- Kicks: Jayda G (DJ mix)” -Jayda G
Jayda G’s DJ mix is the mix you needed so much but never knew was missing! It’s listed as electronic. however, it’s heavily influenced by funk, jazz, R&B and old school soul. I’m an oldhead when it comes to music. So I can appreciate the modern redition of these classic tracks. My favorite tracks are “London Town”, “Uman”, “More than Enough”, “90’s Prostitution Racket”, & “All I need”.
3. “A Story About Love”- Norelle
Norelle’s album is a piece of work with a message! Throughout this project, Norelle explores self-reflection and introspection. This album is so relatable! I love the title beause it literally tells a story! It’s one of those projects that you just have to dowload to aid your self-expression. We’ve all experienced the woes to dating. Noelle’s “A Story About Love” is a cohesive tale through the journey of a relationship.
4. “Sweet Spot (EP)”- MK xyz
One Word. Vibez! This EP definitely hits the sweet spot. Its tracklist is nothing but short and sweet. This is that feel-good music you listen to when you looking cute and chillin’ with your girls. MK xyz did a great job at releasing this project right at the start of summer. Its perfect timing makes for a perfect fit!
5. “Aura III”-ElLHAE
Aura III was highly anticipated by ELHAE Fans and did not disappoint. ELHAE chose the perfect artists to feature.
