Black-owned beauty brands weren’t always the easiest to come by. Our beauty brands lacked distributors, shelf-space, and most importantly exposure. But fortunately, ever since the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement caught some traction black beauty brands have been getting the recognition they deserve. Now it seems like every company and media outlet is providing resources to access these businesses. But I’m not mad at it. The more resources the better!
