Eric Bellinger’s Obsession Tour Recap in Brooklyn

We were excited to attend Eric Bellinger’s “Obsession Tour” concert at Music of Williamsburg hall last week. He’s been a fav’ of ours for a good minute. And I’m glad to report that the concert was a complete vibe. Eric Bellinger has a huge catalog of music. So I was wondering what songs he would choose to perform. He used this to his advantage by picking a couple of songs from a majority of his projects ranging from the beginning to the now of his career.

Opening Acts and Surprise Guests

The Obsession Tour had Gogo Morrow, Philly-bred, LA-based singer/songwriter as the second opening act. Her latest track “Don’t Stop” from 2022 EP “Ready” has been gaining traction. So it was nice to see her kill that song on stage. She has a really good energy about her. Trevor Jackson, singer, rapper, and actor extraordinaire as seen on the tv show Grownish performed right after and did not disappoint. He really showed how talented he was. Trevor Jackson sang songs from several of his projects. He’s a great dancer. And gets a 10 out of 10 on engagement. He even jumped in the crowd at one point. Eric Bellinger also brought out some R&B friends. During his set, he invited singer/songwriter Ro James to the stage as well as Gyalis singer, Capella Grey. The crowd definitely enjoyed the surprise.
