This week’s Rising Artists goes by the name of Ayanis. I chose her because I’ve been following sis since 2018 and her growth has been exponential! I remember watching her and meeting her at SXSW 2019 when she performed on the “Care Free Black Girl” stage. She killed it with her full-out performance! I was also impressed with how sweet and humble she was off the stage. She won me over as a fan that night.

And since then she’s been on her grind, securing features from Mulatto, A Boogie wit a Hoodie, Queen Naija, Jack Harlow, and Wiz Khalifa, promoting her new project, “Yani”, and pushing out social media content good enough to be noticed by Cardi B herself. I’m excited about this rising artist’s future. She’s a triple threat. So I’m rooting for her. You heard it here first, she’s one to look out for.
